I don’t know about the me you’re familiar with, but I’m no one special. Wish I were, but that’s just not the case. I’m a half-baked mage that cheated and bargained my way into where I am now just so I could do what needs to be done.

…I’m alive at all because of other people who protected and aided me. Because of Irisviel and-…and Lancer. But staying alive sometimes necessitates being an underhanded snake. Or at the very least, being someone you just don’t like to be. But it’s better to live long enough to hate yourself than not.
