Great, so I need to start from the beginning. Okay, so, like. Couple of girls I hang out with formed a "Radio Research Society," but the club activities are all just screwing with urban legends and rituals they found off the internet. I've brought that up before, right? Except one day we actually got sent to another world, this place full of black sky and glowing yellow snow. Which is less disgusting than regular yellow snow, except it also spawns hordes of killer snow bunnies and people who turn into monsters.
Equalizers use what look like regular portable cassette players, those ancient things from the 1990s, to put a tape in -- not a regular one, one that you, like, manifest when you face your true self or something -- and transform to fight those monsters.
Of course, even if I got mine out of the gacha machine, it wouldn't work, because somebody programmed my player to only work on my own world, because, blah, blah, stop investigating, this is my problem, you can only use it to defend your own world if they come in here -- come on, who does she think I am?
