[Heaven help whoever got assigned as parents to these two. We're not sure if it'd be better that way, or if it'd be safer for Yoshiko and Marion to have been left to their own devices as assigned "siblings" in this world. Either way, their house is doomed.

The tiny anime-British witch has steadfastly refused to go to school since her arrival, but it's catching up to her after only a few days. While Yoshiko's on her way to their door, a tall nondescript man who's clearly a native to the community comes walking up from the other side of the sidewalk. Under his arm, he's carrying a kicking and screaming little blonde.]

Let me go, you big oaf!!! I told you, I'm not a student!!!

[The man just casually carries her and sets her down in front of Yoshiko. There'd been a rash of truancy lately, and the community seems to have responded by assigning more natives to handle the problem. Marion probably got snagged during one of her shopping trips for more 'ingredients' to try in her 'spells' that never seemed to work.

Marion tunes out whatever the native says. Something about finding Yoshiko's sister skipping school, browsing the stores unsupervised, how they hope Yoshiko plans to take more responsibility for her little sister's whereabouts from now on...]
