Well, it's...

[ And despite her breezy sincerity from earlier, this answer seems to take a little longer. Maybe it's because Narmaya herself doesn't immediately know what it is. ]

I always felt that way at first, whenever someone left and found a family. I'd always want to go running to see them and make sure they were happy and safe in their new homes. But usually, once we'd gotten a letter or two, I felt like... I didn't have to. That everything was fine.

But somehow... the longer it went, the more I felt like I had to find you and make sure you were okay. Once I took over from Mother Clarisse, I didn't really think about it as much, but then when I heard all about the Church and the heroes... and when I heard everyone saying you'd had a part to play in it, I knew I needed to come and... I suppose I wanted to see the man you'd grown up to be.
