Raising a hand, Amber snaps her fingers. Normally, this is where the object she desires would "appear" in her hand, time having frozen for everyone but her - but she's promised not to use those powers, so she tosses her head, catches the hat as it falls again, and draws out of it -

[ Dramatic flipping of the card so Stella can see it. ]

[ Stella has absolutely, definitely seen this trick before just on account of, you know, being Amber's friend and coworker. She also lives in a world of literal magic.

But when Amber pulls out her card, Stella's reaction is... well, first and foremost, it's extremely Stella of her. ]

[ She sounds so AGHAST!! ]

That's my card! That's totally my card! [ She reaches out to try and take the card from Amber so she can examine it. ] How can that be my card?!

[ She whips out a tiny notebook and starts scribbling in it. From what little Stella might be able to see, the entire notebook is full of set design, choreography, and theme ideas. ] May I quote you?

Sometimes when you say stuff like that, I get really worried that one day you're gonna get caught coming out of a museum, carrying the Mona Lisa under your arm and end up going to jail for literally the rest of your whole entire life.
