Lappland's a girl and they've been hanging out and sort-of flirting (in the way that Akane makes a point of sort-of flirting with everyone) and things have been going well enough that they're back at Akane's place, tipsy and a little giddy and maybe it's not a surprise when Lappland finally makes a move.
Akane's eyes are twinkling. She usually likes to be the one who takes the first step, but Lappland's always been... well, Lappland so maybe it's just in her nature to charge on ahead when it comes to things like this. And it's not like Akane dislikes that side of her.
