after sleeping through winter and fall,
kalos has started to wake up again.
and is blooming with flowers flowers flowers! o(^▽^)o

happy springtime! These daffodils are gorgeous. Thanks for sending them!
(or well, a picture but it still counts!)
There's been lots of flowers blooming in the forest the past week, too.
We found some calla lilies the other day, which was a nice surprise!
(people say they're not 'real' lilies but I think they still count.)

Ginko & I are doing fine! We've been talking about coming to visit soon.
Hopefully we'll be able to stay for a while if it doesn't put anyone out.

That is to say, Futo's hanging out near the entrance to the wormhole, which happens to be in the tomb-like room where Futo's coffin is, um. Not morbid at all. It's dusty and filled with 1400-year-old relics, but at least they won't be in there for long.

Normally there would be Rules™ about letting someone so akin to a youkai in here, but Futo may have pulled a few strings...it wouldn't be her if she wasn't the biggest hypocrite ever. ]

[ it's... still a little bizarre to go through all this interdimensional worldhopping business just to go and visit her friends but it's painless enough that Kureha can't really complain. She does end up tripping and staggering a bit as she comes wandering out of the wormhole, evidently a bit unsure as to what kind of terrain she'd be walking onto but she quickly straightens up and gives Futo a smile. ]

Ah, Futo! Sorry I'm--

[ ... and then she immediately starts sneezing uncontrollably once dust starts getting up her nose. oops. ]

[ DESPERATELY STIFLING A LAUGH BEHIND HER SLEEVES oh no ]

We do not use the rooms our tombs are stored in very often, for obvious reasons. Mine apologies, this room is a storage space above all else.

[ oh my god futo you brought her to a tomb room ya big creep

she rubs her nose with those big dumb paws of hers, trying to stop any more dust from going up there and her response is, as a result, a bit muffled. ]

G--guess there's worse places to end up in...

[ she kneels down and pries up one of the crumbly old stone floor tiles, not revealing more floor, but an overhead view of a graveyard

Oh no, no, no, tis merely the spatial powers Taishi-sama and I possess in order to access our domain.

[ She lets the tile drop, waits a few seconds, and picks it up again to reveal somewhere totally different. It probably has a few cute animals walking around tbh. ]

[ WHAT THE FUCK IS YOU, MONONOBE NO FUTO ]

Okay, wh--where actually are we?

She places the tile back down and rises to her feet again, brushing off her skirt. ]

A bit of everywhere, really! This is a pocket dimension sealed off from the rest of the world.

... well there's worse places to be, I guess.

[ okay she's finally dust free and a little less freaked about about this whole thing so you know what that means, futo

IT MEANS YOU'RE GETTING A HUG ]

[ OOOF SHE SHOULD REALLY EXPECT THIS BY NOW which is to say she looks a little surprised and has to right her balance, but ultimately smiles. ]

[ There is a bear. It is sneaking around. ]

Hmm... Lulu definitely smells Kure-pie's delicious smell... but where is Kure-pie?

Groowwwwllll... and after Lulu came all this way just to visit her...

[ She goes back to sniffing around ]

Sniff sniff, sniff sniff... oh! The smell's stronger now, growl!! Kure-pie must be that way!

[ STARTS BOUNDING OFF IN THAT DIRECTION... and then remembers she wanted this to be a surprise so she slows to a quick tip toe instead. ]

...Oh right. Sneak sneak! Sneak sneak...!

[ WHERE IS KURE-PIE INDEED

just keep following your nose lulu because you will eventually find who you're looking for riiiiight in the back room of this nice little b&b smack dab in Lumiose.

And that's definitely Kureha fast asleep half-in and half-out of a kotatsu with the heat pumped right up. she looks like she's been there for hours. she probably isn't waking up by herself any time soon.

GO AHEAD AND SURPRISE HER ]

[ THERE. THERE SHE IS. THERE'S HER KURE-PIE. ]

Kure-pie!

[ Lulu can barely contain her excitement at seeing her, and ignoring her sneaking plan she just starts chargin and jumps at her ]

POUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCE, GROWL~!!

[ well that commotion's gotta wake you up in time to get a faceful of bear, right Kureha? ]

[kurechin]

[ one minute kureha is having a perfectly nice dream about planting lilies in an oversized garden and the next she's awake just in time to see a brown blur speeding at her face and she only has enough time to splutter in shock before she's down and out with Lulu plopping down on top of her as she falls back.

bye kureha.

she just lays there stunned for a moment before she plants her hands on Lulu's sides and makes to lift her. ]

A--alright, alright already, I'm up! Geeze, let me--

[ ... and then she stops.

because that's. that's Lulu. She's a hundred percent sure that the bear sitting on her chest is Lulu Yurigasaki and she has absolutely no idea how to process that so all she does is stare, her mouth hanging open.

lesbear.exe has stopped responding. ]

[ Lulu just giggles and grins AS IF SHE'S NOT... Y'KNOW. BACK FROM THE DEAD. ]

Groooowl, wakey wakey rise and shine, Kure-pie!

... Lulu...

[ she can feel all Lulu's weight and warmth in her hands, so there's no way this could be a dream or her imagination and no one could pull off a Lulu impression quite this faithfully.

So this has to be real. She's torn between wanting to call someone and make sure she's not crazy and too scared to do it in case she is. ]

H... how... how are you here? How'd you get here? You were-- [ dead ] -- h--hurt. I thought...

[clebear]

Lulu tracked you, growl.

[ Said so matter of factly.

But she drops all the happy-go-lucky cheerfulness, knowing full well that this is... well, it's big for Kureha. It had been big and emotional for Ginko too. Seeing the dead again usually is. ]

Groooowl, it looks like Heaven is a lot more lenient than you'd figure growl.

Lulu just decided one day that Lulu really, REALLY wanted to see Ginko and Kure-pie again, so Lulu found a way to get to where you are, growl.

But when Lulu got there only Ginko was there... so Lulu worried, growl.

Ginko told Lulu where you'd be and then one world led to another and Lulu followed her nose aaaaaaaaaaaaall the way here! Groooowl~ isn't Lulu just so clever?

Kurehan, you're smart, can you help me with this?

[Haruka, flopped down on one of the two beds in her dorm in a pile of textbooks and notebooks, gives a dramatic groan.]

I don't understand why we have to know that things fall 9.8 meters per second anyway.

I might be smart, but it's been a while since I've studied any of this stuff, you know.

[ which isn't to say she's not going to try and help, but. consider that your warning, Haruka. ]

Which problem are you having trouble with? Read it out loud to me. It might even help you make a little more sense of it if you read it aloud.

Uhh... all of them. [She holds up the practice quiz in defeat.] The net force diagrams make no sense and I can never remember what the velocity-distance-time equation actually means.
