THE IC INTERVIEW MEME

 

A variant of the IC questions / IC anon meme! Characters are set up to be interviewed (how?? why?? don't worry about it) and must endure being assailed by questions!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

#1: Post a top level with your character's name, canon, etc

#2: Tag around (either using anon posting or sock accounts, I'm not fussy) to other characters as interviewers asking questions! You can use this list of questions that was going around plurk or come up with your own, do whatever you like!!!

#3: OPTIONAL BONUS CONTENT: If you want your character to get grilled but they're the type to be dodgy about questions, there can be an optional truth compulsion effect in play where their tongue might be a little looser than usual... just indicate in your toplevel if you want to play around with it!

#4: HAVE FUN I GUESS I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH POINTS TO FILL THESE LISTS OUT

It depends; do you count someone as a medium if they've just got Tamayori powers, or if they're out using them for a living, like with the police supernatural division or as one of those psychics on the street corner? Then again, I suppose even then I wouldn't say I'm not.

Wait, wait, wait. Your police have a supernatural division? --Look, I know this is an interview and questions are the point, but every time you answer, I've got, like, five more things to ask about.

[She laughs to herself, the dark chuckle she definitely hasn't been practising in the mirror, and shakes her head.]

For now, anyway. These days fewer people can even see these things, so they've been on the decline. Mother said they tried to recruit her once, it was a whole to-do.

You'd think with the population always growing, there'd be more supernaturally sensitive people, not less. Weird, innit?

They say it's because of industrialization driving people away from the supernatural. That's the common theory, anyway.

More people die every day, though, which makes more ghosts. At least, it seems like more of us are slipping through the cracks. Not complaining, mind you. Keeps me and Edwin from ever wanting for cases. Just makes you wonder how the system's meant to keep up, doesn't it.

Anyway, what do you do, then? Miss "Technically a Medium but not for a Living."

I'm still a student, naturally. Though now I've got to wonder what you mean, speaking of cases and all.

And I figure getting killed on our school's watch exempts us from classes for the rest of forever.

Not if they can't register you. I'm not even certain the Professor would have his ways... then again, he does always seem to have the answers.
