THE IC INTERVIEW MEME

 

A variant of the IC questions / IC anon meme! Characters are set up to be interviewed (how?? why?? don't worry about it) and must endure being assailed by questions!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

#1: Post a top level with your character's name, canon, etc

#2: Tag around (either using anon posting or sock accounts, I'm not fussy) to other characters as interviewers asking questions! You can use this list of questions that was going around plurk or come up with your own, do whatever you like!!!

#3: OPTIONAL BONUS CONTENT: If you want your character to get grilled but they're the type to be dodgy about questions, there can be an optional truth compulsion effect in play where their tongue might be a little looser than usual... just indicate in your toplevel if you want to play around with it!

#4: HAVE FUN I GUESS I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH POINTS TO FILL THESE LISTS OUT

Nothing like a kitsune spirit. I just overdid it without thinking about the consequences a while back. Didn't care if I became a monster, and...

... Might be easier to show, than tell. Haven't done this in a while, but...

[Yayoi takes a breath, and then... Her form blurs. It's like Eve's eyes have to refocus, as though the sun went down over the horizon, and then like a magic eye puzzle, what you thought was two faces was actually a vase... without changing, Yayoi is now a strange, armored form.]

[ give her a sec, she has to actually rub at her eyes a bit. once that's done, she tilts her head the other way. ]

...Definitely a cultural thing, though. I'm used to "monster" being used for... people who've done terrible things, I guess? To the point you don't really want to call them a person anymore.

[After a moment, she reverts back to her prior form! And lets out a deep breath, shaking her body out- She's giving the impression of someone who just tried to exercise a muscle they haven't used in a long time.]

I mean... We've got those kinds, too. There's less difference between them than you think. When someone gains power, and then their desires control their heart... They become monsters in more than one sense.

Well, yeah, some people being fucking garbage is kind of a universal thing. I just mean— we don't usually go by appearance? Probably because there's a lot more... variety. Between people where I'm from than there is some place where most people are human.

Though it's not just appearance. Monsters like that usually have special powers too.
