[Charolite watched the temple through their binoculars, frowning. They had been told about all these new 'hybrid' Gems... and that it was likely a plot by the rebels to boost their numbers again.

They were only here because these fakes wouldn't have the skill or knowledge to block their scanning. They didn't want to be here. At all.

So maybe they weren't hiding as well as they really should have been...]

[ She probably shouldn't have gotten so used to this whole other world business as quickly as she had, but Sonico has to admit the lack of overwhelming anxiety over her situation is rather welcome. She has no idea if it's her Gem or the temple itself, but while she would most certainly prefer to be home right now, staying here... isn't the worst thing in the world.

So that's why she's on the beach right now, looking for all the world like she's just playing with a stray cat -- but going by the way her Gem's glowing and the unnatural jewel sheen to the cat's fur, there is definitely some shit going on right now. ]
