[ If there was one thing Adam hated it was being bored, which made him the most ill fitted for his role out of all three brothers. Still, he was a part of this guest's journey, whether he liked it or not; he was explicitly required here. Just him.

Currently he is alone in the car room, sprawled out on the couch flipping through the compendium absentmindedly. This journey's barely even started and already he's bored out of his wits.

This is going to be a long year... ]

[ It strikes Chiyoko that between the TV World and the Velvet Room it's probably the latter that weirds her out more. At least with the TV World she knew she wasn't totally crazy and just imagining it (unless Sho was too which to be honest was not unlikely). The Velvet Room, though, makes her a little uneasy when she thinks about it too hard but maybe that's just her brain still trying to adjust to all this bizarre... everything that's been happening since she got here.

But weird or not, the Velvet Room's a necessity and a girl has to fuse some Personas sometime. So off she goes to the Velvet Room, expecting to see the usual when she opens the door. But when she just sees Adam, she blinks and then frowns, puzzled. ]

... Huh.

Where'd everyone else get to?

[ doesn't even look up at her, just raises a hand and waves it dismissively ]

Out. The master does that sometimes.

Sorry but he's the only one that can fuse for you.

[ w o w. ]

Seriously? Just... out...? Did he say where he was goin'?

[ she just goes and plops herself down into her usual seat, chin resting in the palm of her hand as she leans on the armrest. if he'll be back soon, might as well hang out here til he is. ]

He did not.

[ flips the page ]

So he just takes off whenever he feels like it? Hope this ain't a regular thing.

[ she's got shitty starter personas she needs to fuse cmon igor ]

... s'there any reason you can't do it for me? Or is it just a thing he can do?

[ finally looks up ]

I figured if you're in here like he is, you guys can all do the fusion thing, right?

[ surely there's no possible way for this to go completely wrong ]

[ eyes back to the compendium and voice dripping with sarcasm ]

If you like your personas coming out all mangled like freak experiments gone awry then by all means, dear guest, see what happens when you ask an amateur do a job that requires a master.

[ oh my god she's been here like five minutes and she already wants to slam that compendium into his face

instead she just scowls, looking mildly offended. you'd think Igor would bother to make sure her attendant wouldn't be so.... this but evidently as long as he can handle the compendium, the job's his. ]

Well, how was I s'pposed to know? From what I got, you're here to help me out. Seems kinda dumb for him to go swannin' off and leavin' you here with me if ya can't even do anythin'.

[ he pauses, before closing the compendium ]

You're absolutely right. It is dumb. Quite dumb in fact. Stupid, even. [ presses the compendium to his chest ] Idiotic. Moronic. Fool hardy.

[ ... it kind of looks like she touched on a sore spot there and she goes quiet for a moment, not sure what to say to him. He's not any happier about this than she is, after all, so maybe the best thing to do is just try and work with what they've got.

So eventually she pipes up; ]

Well... what can ya do in here? [ apart from sassing your guest ]

Lament my fate of perpetual boredom?

[ but he lifts the book ]

And grab anything you may need from here.

[ she sighs, a little huff of breath that comes out more through her nose than her mouth. ]

So I guess fusin' really is out... unless I'm down for creatin' monstrosities and I've seen enough horror movies t'know that's a bad idea.

How come you're so bored, though? What's so bad about this place?

[ giving her a look ]

Tell me, do you see anything to actually do in this place?

[ ... looking around the limo

after a moment, her eyes settle on the glasses and bottles lined up on the shelves at her side and she glances back to him with a sheepish smile. ]

Unless you guys're allowed to drink on the job, then nah. But you ain't in here all the time are ya?

[ a crooked grin that doesn't seem very happy at all ]

I am. I am bound to your fate and your journey, therefore I must remain here.

[ a pause, and then; ]

Wow, uh. No wonder you're bored.

[ she looks faintly guilty at the idea, though. So the others can just swan off whenever they like, but he's stuck here all by himself and it's technically her fault. Great.

she goes quiet again, mulling the problem over. ]

Well... what kinda stuff would ya wanna do? Like, is there anythin' in particular or are you just that damn bored all the time?
