LET'S GO WITH CANON BECAUSE MY DUMB ASS FELL OUT OF CEREAL SO SOON

So to start with Togo was probably the one person in the Hero Club that Karin had the toughest time working out. She had a pretty good idea of what the others were about but Togo was just so Aggressively Togo that she had no fucking idea what to make of her. Even as she started settling into the club she still sort of struggled with pidgeonholing here which made it a lot harder for her to approach Togo in the way she does Yuna and Fu. Togo in her eyes isn't as much a member of the club as she is a fixture of it, mostly attached to Yuna. She liked her well enough and respected how tough she was in battle but. Really, that was it?

AND THEN SHE BLEW A HOLE IN THE UNIVERSE AND THAT SORT OF WENT OUT THE WINDOW

Because then Karin sort of... felt like in Togo doing that she was making herself into a person she could understand more easily? All of Togo's. Togo-ness suddenly clicked in her mind and she started being able to put together a better picture of her. And I think more than anything, she pitied her? At that point Togo was someone she considered a friend and seeing her so scared and in pain was honestly really terrifying for Karin. Because Togo up until now had always been so chill and so level headed. BUT SHE ALSO KNEW that she had no damn hope of getting through to Togo which is why she sent Yuna after her.

In the aftermath her feelings are kind of all weird and knotted up and she's back to square one of not knowing what to make of Togo. But!! She wants to!! She just has no idea how to start the whole SO ABOUT YOU BLOWING UP THE WORLD conversation lmao
