This is a meme-ified version of the Airlocked sequel/Round 6 AU cooked up by myself and Jess made available for everyone to goof around with. HAVE FUN, GANG TL;DR: we still have airlocked brainrot THE BASICS: This meme is for threads/plots/mingles/whatever set in an Airlocked-based AU as outlined above. You don't need to be Airlocked alumni to play here but some familiarity with the game's vibes and mechanics is useful! The game's setting is Tulipa Residency Station, a high class space station orbiting an unoccupied planet. It's basically a cross between a super fancy hotel and a super fancy cruise liner so feel free to make up fitting locations as you see fit. AND YES, YOU CAN HAVE ROOMMATES. Slap up a toplevel quickly outlining what's going on with your character in the tradition of murdergame memes gone by – you can also outline your character's role in the game, how long they last and maybe give ideas for progressive CR, memory reveals, that sort of thing! Line up all your evidence and sniff out the killer -- or sit there and sweat and hope no one works out you're the murderer. Will they go down with a confession or put up a fight? 5. Afterparty You've survived another trial, but more of your friends have died. Even without the executions, trials are a stressful enough affair. It wouldn't be the first time, would it? Christine-san got that strange ransom note a few weeks– ah.

[ It's not a letter at all. For a split second, she'd mistaken it for a poem of some kind but this is... ]

... They're lyrics. For... a B-Komachi song I don't know.

[ Pop in 2. She's definitely never heard of this song so... what is it? ]

Really? [She taps her chin.] Maybe something they wrote while you were away. Though I'd have assumed all these things were grabbed when we were, not after.

. . . So they kept on going without me.

[ She sounds... a little hurt, almost. Or at least that there's some pained, complicated emotion going on in her voice. ]

...Are you upset?

[Her first thought is "does she think they're wasting their time not coming to rescue her," but she doesn't voice that -- it's ridiculous. Annu might not know much about idols, coming from the wrong century, but she's pretty sure they can't be expected to go to space in another world and mount a rescue mission.]

[ There's a pause, just a fraction of a second too long, before Ai's expression breaks into a hasty grin. ]

No, of course not. If B-Komachi's going on without me then that's good, isn't it? It's just...

[ She folds the paper over again. ]

This means things really must be going on without us back home.

Unfortunate. [She frowns.] I know it's possible to have time stop or at least slow between worlds, relatively speaking. The fact that they didn't do it here is either laziness, malice, or incompetence on their part, and the fact that I don't know which speaks volumes about them.

Based on how things have been going so far, I feel pretty safe betting on 'malice'.

That might be. But just because they're evil doesn't mean they're good at everything they do. I find a good number of people aren't. [She chuckles.] Especially when they've let their guard down. Mother always used to tell us about the time she made some drunken politicians run face first into a serving tray because they were creeping on the geisha.

Mm.

[ Her expression goes a little distant again. ]

It's kind of worrying to think they dragged us all here and they still don't have any idea what they're doing.

[finalflower]

You might have a point. But from where I'm standing, I'd be happy to see any weakness they might show. Slip up and it gives us an opening.

[liedol]

[ That brings a smile back to her lips, faint as it is. ]

When you say it like that, it almost sounds easy.

I should hope so.

[She pulls out another gacha coin from her sleeve and flips it in the air.]

Even if it isn't, why back down from a challenge after everything we've already been through?
