[DID SOMEONE ORDER A MASCOT CHARACTER??

Alright, here's the skinny: Something strange is going on with the mindscape. It seems to be slowly merging with the real world somehow, and as a result, has become partly physical. What's worse is that Shadows have begun appearing, attacking unsuspecting dreamers... and thanks to the changed properties of the dream world, if you die in your dreams, you now die in real life.
If you're a Persona-user (or a potential Persona-user), chances are next time you fall asleep, you're gonna run into this weird triangle guy. He says his name is Bill and he explains to you what's happening, and most importantly, even though the dreamscape is now physical, he's not. For some reason he's still made of pure energy and as a result, can't fight the Shadows. That's where you come in.
What he CAN do is help you navigate, since he lives in the mindscape, he knows it like the back of his little black hand. He can also detect enemy weaknesses, which should be useful.

So c'mon already, you need to help him figure out what's going on and why dreams are merging with reality!
... Oh, and save anyone in danger too, I guess.]

Sam Erstwhile might be a giant ancient aquatic creature in the shape of an unkempt gangly human teenager, but that doesn't mean he's familiar with all this magic mindscape stuff.]

[He blinks. This is the first time he's been here, and although he's just passing it all off as one strange dream (what are those weird figures that move out of the corner of his eye? what are these bizarre structures?), a part of him feels that this is truly real, in some sense.]

[Sam wanders around, too unsettled by this whole thing, until he has the great pleasure of turning a corner and almost walking into...a big yellow triangle man.]

[WHAT.]

W-what?! [He jumps back slightly, eyes widening.] What are...are you some kind of...is that a top hat?

[Truth be told, Bill isn't actually that big; somewhere between 4 and 4 and a half feet, give or take. Still doesn't mean he isn't alarming to suddenly bump into, even if it is a little ironic that Sam, of all people, is freaked out by him.]

Funny thing is, I'm not all that different from you! Except I've never been much for water!

[WHAT KIND OF DUMB NAME IS THAT.]

[He boggles at the sight (Bill, you may not be super large but you are the size of a small child and that is somewhat unnerving), trying to grasp what he's seeing. Of course, he's observing this triangle man very carefully (what does he mean, not much different from you?), but it's best to play dumb and cowardly for now, like he always does.]

I...that doesn't answer my question? Who are you? What...w-what is this place?

[Honestly, this kind of feels a lot like home. Not quite home, but close enough that Rahti nearly sheds her human mimicry in favor of her original form. But...an instinctual feeling that something is different stops her from doing that - and just in time.

That is...wow. That is something she's never seen before, and she quickly walks over Bill, ignoring whatever he says in order to -

She's sniffing him. An albino girl with long, slightly messy white hair, raggedy clothes, and a pink dog collar around her neck is sniffing him.]

[Strange yellow triangle is weird, but also exciting! And she wonders if he's friendly. She hopes he's friendly, although she is curious about how he would taste if it came down to a fight.

[Well, this is... not quite what he was expecting, but Bill allows the girl to sniff him in this dog-like way, even if it is rather odd. It's not as though he actually has a scent anyway.]

Name's Bill! Is this how ya greet everyone?

[Someone with no scent is weird. If he doesn't have a scent...then what about a taste?

So she sticks out her tongue to try and lick him. Yep.

But his question stops her before that tongue of hers gets close, and she smiles.]

Yeah! If I smell someone, I can learn a lot about them! But you don't have a smell...

[She looks worried for a moment, but then shakes it off.]

Hey, where am I? What are you? I was asleep before, but am I awake now? Is this another dimension? Where'd you get that hat from? What do you taste like? Is there-

[Bill, stop her. Stop her or she will never stop.]
