You aren't. In fact, remaining as close like how you were as good friends is a sign of a healthy romantic relationship. It shows you have a strong foundation.

I suggest taking things slow at first, start with small compliments then adding a romantic touch to your usual hang-outs would help with the awkwardness and have your minds adjust to your new relationship status. Maybe, see a movie together without telling your friends, or go on a trip with just the two of you.

But before I go on, how long have you two been dating? Do your friends know?

it's only been about three weeks? so maybe that's not really long enough for things to feel different at all, but i'm still worrying about it lol
as for telling people um
we're not going around telling people but at the same time we're not NOT telling people? does that make sense
like it's not a secret or anything and we don't care who knows but i don't think we're planning on making it a bit announcement

Yes, three weeks is short. It will take a bit longer, but I promise it will feel right soon enough. Those weeks of awkwardness would feel like mere seconds.

[ Rin holds out for a long moment before replying, because even if she doesn't name him, just giving Eclair the answer will probably clue her in. Rin has her friends, but she doesn't have that many – especially not that many guy friends, so it wouldn't take a genius to work out who she's talking about. But at the same time, Rin is pretty sure she is not physically capable of lying to Eclair or Sofia. So, here goes nothing. ]
