i was holding my eye open to put it in and i blinked
and it like
ricocheted off my eyelashes and stuck to the mirror
AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

Well, at least you didn't get hurt! I think I know a few ways to get them off the mirror, but I'm not so sure they're going to survive...

but it basically turned out exactly the same way as this time

i figured i could figure out how to do it this time cos it was my second go
but the idea of putting stuff in my eyes just REALLY wigs me out when i get down to it

You don't need to do it if you're really having trouble with it.

and you can get ones that have really cool and weird effects so your eyes look totally wild!
like sparkles or heart pupils or things like that

If you really want to, then try to practise first. It'll take a few tries. Though contacts ending up on the mirror is a new one.

honestly the wildest part is that it happened TWICE. once is kind of a freak accident and twice is a pattern. if it happens again i think i just need to give up and accept the fact that i'm cursed

I've never heard of anyone being cursed specifically about contact lenses, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.

Yes, especially right when you put them in, but make sure to keep doing it when they start to dry out. Otherwise they might get stuck there until you can moisten your eyes enough to get them out! That happened to Veronica once when we went on tour a few years back and she tried these sparkly lenses. When you go someplace hotter and drier than you're used to, well...

Usually not, sorry to say! But aren't most beauty regimens a lot of work? I still remember the days of apricot cleansers... and nowadays there's that charcoal fad that no one is sure really works...
