The raccoons are back...

Oh, no. I told you guys to hang your food! Not that that always stops them, though...

If anything, right now I think it might be encouraging them! They're batting at some of the meat like it's some sort of toy... I think they're having fun with it.

I tried chasing them off but one of them hissed and spat at me so I decided to keep away for now...

Ugh. The worst thing is, they know how to open boxes, too, and the last thing you want is to leave food in the open, because they'll be there in a snap. Got any fire? Or at least some pepper.

I think I have some pepper somewhere in my supplies... but I'm definitely not playing around with fire just to shoo them away!

Okay, spread pepper around stuff they haven't gotten to yet. I'll be in to handle the raccoons. Assuming you don't just want me to shoot them. Twenty to one Lulu's gotten attached.

She's given two of them full names and a shared backstory and now she's working on the third one.

Thought so. That part, at least, was inevitable. I'll just chase them off, then we lock everything even remotely edible or that even smells like something anything could eat away and make sure they don't come back.

I wonder if it's worth looking into seeing what I could make with alchemy that could keep them away? Even if it's just something simple like a sort of pepper poultice that would smell strong enough to make them go away?
