[Rise was very upset. Poor Sonico probably caught more than her fair share of glaring from the petite idol when they were introduced. At first, because her Senpai was there with a gorgeous girl none of them had met! And then the looks turned... well, different. Less definitely hostile, but still very ????. A difficult mood to pin down. It all built up to Rise literally pulling Sonico aside after the conversation had moved on, and the whole team broke off into smaller groups.]

Sonico-san... we need to talk about... that.

[This is uncharacteristically intense and serious, but it's okay, that won't last long. She'll just... keep tugging Sonico along, and wait are they going outside? Well, they are if Sonico keeps following.]

[ honestly if Sonico tried to say she hadn't been expecting a reaction like this, she'd be a liar. because really, the whole story is a little... out there. they had to have known about the whole murderschool business, but she doubts very much that they'd expected adachi to come back from the thing alive and also dating someone.

so maybe she shouldn't be so surprised when Rise pulls her aside -- but she still finds herself stuttering nervously, tripping over her words (and her feet) as she's tugged away from the group ]

[Tohsaka Rin was travelling Lumiose with a map in her hands; of course she had come to confirm if he was alive or not, but she didn't mind if she didn't find him, as long as he didn't take another step in Fuyuki.

Finding the priest was just an excuse. She just wanted to test the jewel sword's ability to traverse different worlds. But when she sees an unfamiliar head of pink hair, she slowly walks up with curious eyes and a polite voice.]

[ Sonico likes to think that she's not the kind of mother who sees a potential disaster behind every slightest snuffle, but thinking that doesn't stop it from being at least a little bit true. But it's the morning after a horrendous night of no sleep, and Nanami still won't settle and she feels like she has a temperature (a slight one, but nevertheless) and she doesn't even bother trying to keep the fret from her voice when she phones Naomi up. ]

Ah-- N--Naomi-san, I'm sorry, b--but are you busy today...?

[Naomi isn't anticipating much on her end. It's been a slow work week, but she's still up when the phone rings and answers after the first ring. Her eyebrow raises slightly. Usually there's a hello, but there's something about Sonico's voice and now isn't the time to pick at small details.]

[ Kalos was becoming unbearably hot.

It was only natural, of course, as summer was coming. People more adjust to warm climates would probably call the Kalosian weather pleasant, or even chilly. But as someone with low tolerance for heat, Miriam couldn't handle it.

Ah, she really missed the Eulalian summers right now. It would be nice if more places only had summer for month...

However, moping about the weather wouldn't solve anything. What she needed was a wardrobe suitable for trials ahead—a task couldn't be completed alone. So, she enlisted the only person she could trust about such matters.

Wearing a simple outfit with a matching purse, she waited for Sonico in front the Prism Tower where they promised to meet. ]

[ Sonico's so used to the broiling city heat of Tokyo summers that Kalos seems almost mild in comparison -- still hot enough to be nice summer weather but not so hot that all she wants to do is lay in front of a fan all day. Of course, there's still plenty of time for that to change which is a little part of why Sonico's so ready for this shopping trip.

She's decked out in summer gear when she comes hurrying to meet Miriam by the tower, a plain white summer dress with a sunhat, just in case. She's still not used to seeing Miriam with short hair so it takes her a moment before she manages to spot her -- and then she beams, calling out to her and lifting her hand to wave as she hurries over. ]

Miriam-chan! I didn't keep you waiting, did I?

[Travelling the different worlds isn't something Maya gets to do as much as the other Future Foundation and reserve members, but when she can, she's usually visiting Sonico.

And who can blame her? Sonico's a cute friend with a cute baby and goodness is it nice to hang out somewhere fun with Pokemon and friends. Today they're out in Lumiose, walking with Nanami in her stroller, ready for a day filled with sight seeing.]

This place is still so cute.

[ that makes two of them -- Sonico's not as accustomed to all the world-hopping, for obvious reasons (inter-dimensional warpholes aren't good for babies, apparently) but when she gets the chance, it's either to Tokyo to visit Inaba or to Kurain to visit Maya. Usually it's Maya coming to Lumiose though, what with Nanami and all, and Sonico can't say she minds -- Kurain is nice but there's something a little special about casually strolling around her home with a visiting friend at her side. ]

Mmm, well that depends...! We could stop off and get some galettes before we go shopping if you want -- if we manage to catch them with a fresh batch we might get something to drink, too~

But after that, we can start wherever you like! You don't get as many chances to sight-see around here as I do, right?

[ ... that and Nanami will be a little less inclined to fuss while they shop if she's placated with a galette beforehand. ]

[Utena opens the door quietly, or as quietly as she can with a box of baked goods in her hands. And what's in that box, exactly? Oh, nothing. Just a few raspberry macarons. They aren't particularly special. They just happen to be one of her sister's absolute favorite snacks, is all. And their presence can mean only one thing.

Utena's in trouble.

Not that she'll say anything about it. Sis and grandma probably haven't even heard the news yet! She just has to make sure that they talk to her before they talk to her teacher. That should be easy, right? right]

[ it's not quite late enough for Sonico to be worrying about Utena, but it's getting there. It's just long enough after school that she's keeping an eye out now.

She almost misses Utena sneaking in, but manages to catch her at the last second -- and though she's smiling as she calls out to her, and her voice is fairly breezy, there's a bit of a suspicious gleam to her eyes. ]
